Bringing to your attention the remarkable work of Jagjit Singh, a Gurgaon-based industrialist, who has been providing homes for stray dogs made of fiber drums. He recently started providing birdhouses, which makes his work even more inspiring. By expanding his efforts, he has shown real commitment to making the world a better place for all living creatures.

Vikrant Vij
A Feeding Hero
Often found outside AIIMS & Safdarjung Hospitals with plates full of nutrition and happiness, Vikrant Vij has dedicated his life to helping poor families battling cancer. It all started when he was diagnosed with stage 4 Cancer in 2019, but he didn’t let it bring him down. Despite coming from a middle-class background, he prepares food for more than 300 people daily and aims to feed more than one thousand patients and their attendants. For this, he started Apurva - A Helping Hand Foundationnamed after his daughter, to serve the needy.
Till now, he has served more than 3 lakh people and is not stopping any time soon. A true gentleman in all senses.

Selfie With Daughter
A gentleman first and then the Sarpanch of Bibipur, Haryana, became an advocate for girls' rights when he noticed how pregnant women fell prey to the heinous act of abortion in his village after a potential sex determination. Apart from the Selfie With Daughter, Jaglan also initiated Mahila Gram Sabha in 2012 and took the issue of female foeticide in Maha Khap Panchayat.
